About the Town
The Town of Farmington was organized in 1854. It includes the unincorporated communities of Burr Oak, Mindoro and Stevenstown. Located in northern La Crosse County, it borders Monroe, Jackson and Trempealeau Counties. Home to 2,162 residents and over 76 square miles of land, it is a mix of agricultural, recreational, forest and rural housing. Small business dominates, but we are also home to a dairy processing plant that produces award winning cheese and supports over 60 jobs.
